Dynamic. Disciplined. Driven. Travis Bickham brings these attributes to every deal she does. Growing up on big ranches in the North, she lived a life that many only read about…. One room school houses, raising most of the family’s food right there on the ranch, neighbors gathering to help each other at branding and shipping time. This life instilled in her a strong work ethic and an appreciation for the core values of the western lifestyle.

After high school, her college career was derailed by health issues. During that down time, she had the opportunity to move to Texas with a job. At the age of 18, she moved to Houston – and never looked back! She has called Texas home since that day!

That job led to other opportunities in sales and management. Travis worked in consumer electronics for years – living that “glamourous” lifestyle of travel, meetings and clients all over the country, working major trade shows, and lots of frequent flyer miles. During that time, she honed her skills in sales, management, event planning, and motivation speaking/training.

During a period of huge corporate layoffs, Travis was on a call with 400 others. Hewlett-Packard announced their entire division was being eliminated! With two kids at home, she made the decision to leave “Corporate America” and build a new life in a small town.

Savoring the people and values of the “Cowboy Capital of the World”, she embarked on a new career path. Property management introduced her to the people in the community and taught her much about real estate.

Travis is blessed with a very active lifestyle. She balances volunteer work with spoiling her three grandbabies. Family gatherings are frequent as are church activities and events. She served on the PRCA Rodeo board, is currently building a non-profit program to serve at-risk children, enjoys yoga, and is an avid flower gardener. Horseback riding trips with friends are a regular part of her schedule as well.

As a real estate professional, Travis has in-depth knowledge and understanding of the rental and investment property market. She understands perfectly the needs of equine professionals, so horse properties are a passion of hers.
