Property Details

It’s a rare opportunity when 30 acres so conveniently located, with such natural character comes available in Erath County, when it does everyone should have the opportunity to buy it. The Whitis Dairy has been in the family for 40 years and this marks the first time it has been offered to the public in over four decades. Tom and Joyce Whitis were well known and loved in Erath County and left their mark in the area and the dairy industry from atop this hill along FM 8.

The property offers a 3/1/2 home situated atop the hill overlooking the farm. The home has been delightfully remodeled in recent years. The 12 stall dairy barn is still in use to this day by a longtime lessee. The land is gently rolling with 5-20 percent slopes and offering a fine loamy soil, perfect for grazing or hay production.

The property offers 4/10ths of a mile of paved FM 8 frontage that runs from Lingleville and Stephenville. Situated in the regarded Lingelville School District, this property will offer the new owners plenty of opportunity and memories.
